Whether you are wanting to go room by room, or you are a DIY-er who wants to handle their own project, you can have the support and guidance of a professional Interior Designer. We will provide you with a comprehensive plan including a furniture plan, a mood/concept board showing you at a glance the look and feel of your room, a color rendering so you can visualize your completed space, your color palette, window treatment design, provide a shopping list with direct clickable links and detailed instructions to coordinate your project to a beautiful completion.


During our Discovery Call we would like to get to know a bit about you and your needs. Each person and their home and vision is unique, and the more you can share with us, the better we can serve you.

1. What project are you wanting to work on?
Tell us a little about yourself, where you are located, your family, your lifestyle and what your vision is for your home.

This information will help us upfront determine our role and what scope of work and deliverables we will be responsible for. If the client likes to secure their own product, our services and fees would be different than a client who is hands-off and trusts the entire project in our teams’ capable hands.

3. Have you worked with a Designer before?
Each designer works differently and we like to share our process, which we have learned will bring you the best results.

4. What is the investment you are prepared to make on your project?
Your project is your investment, and we want to assure you that we understand, respect and know how to manage your funds. Determining an estimated budget that works within your projected investment is critical as it guides us in our quoting of products, materials, service fees, labor costs. Remember also that shipping, delivery charges and sales tax must be accounted for within the budget.

5. What is your timeframe for completion?
Determining a realistic completion date is determined by many factors. Our team strives for effiiciency in our process which helps us deliver. Understanding the realistic time to completion, depending on the size and complexity of the project, helps our clients relax and enjoy the process, knowing we have things well planned.

The consultation is a great opportunity to get to know each other, and to understand your needs. This is an opportunity to discuss initial ideas which will be developed later into a custom design plan tailor-made for your specific needs.

What’s Included in Your In Home Consultation:

Each appointment is unique to you! Here are some of the typical topics discussed at the consultation.

Discussion of your design goals, your lifestyle, your needs and how you would like your space to look and function Discussion of your style and design direction We will walk through each room to access your existing space and discuss furniture layout, window treatment ideas, lighting ideas Suggestions for new furniture and furnishings, possible art additions , Preliminary budget and timeline. We will offer styling tips, suggest ways to mix patterns, styles, antiques, collections and heirloom pieces. Paint colors will be suggested

Please note that no design work, materials or furniture selections or re-arranging of furnishings will happen at this meeting. All suggestions are verbal and we encourage you to take notes.

*All decision makers are encouraged to be at the consultation, to allow everone’s input and vision for the space. Please be prepared to discuss budget, and we are happy to guide your through the process of establishing one. In order to provide the best service, we like to discuss your vision, your timeframe, how we work, and our fee structure at the first meeting.

Our Design Process: Overview


Free Discovery Call: we take time to get to know you and gather as much information as possible about your needs and your vision.

Consultation: We come out to see your space in person, discuss your project needs, discuss the design process and provide solid ideas and direction for your project. Following the consultation we will email you a Fee Proposal within 5 business days , outlining the scope of work, estimated number of hours to complete your project, the minimum estimated design fee, and the advance on the design fee to start the process.

Once the deposit is received the project begins. Trade Day is scheduled to allow our tradespeople to view the space and provide quotes. With the gathered information, a comprehensive design plan is created. This would include all details of the project including drawings, furnishings, finishes, fabrics,, select accessories and art. One revision is included.

Upon approval of the design plan we require 50% to 75% of the total budget and  signing of the Furnishings Proposal to move forward with the purchasing and project management phase.

All product is ordered and delivered to a receiving company for installation. Renovation and construction projects on a large scale allow for product to be received as needed. Smaller projects such as a kitchen or bathroom remodel have all of the product excluding the cabinets on site to begin the project to allow for expedited completion of the project Room furnishings are delivered and installed once they are all received, allowing time to prepare the space with paint, flooring or needed finishes.

Our Design Process: Full Design Projects- 15 STEP PROCESS

Our goal is to make the Design-Build process an enjoyable and stress free one for our clients. Experience has shown us that the knowledge of our standard procedures helps clients feel comfortable for the duration of the project.

Here’s our time proven step by step method:

Project Initiation Phase (1-30 days)
STEPS 1 & 2

Prepaid Consultation with Robin Plett Trimble or Senior Designer and a comprehensive explanation of LLA processes. Signed agreement and retainer accepted to commence project.

Research, Design, Presentation Phase (4-6 weeks)
STEPS 3 to 5

Arrange a Trade Day  for on-site measurements, photos and meeting with contractors.  Sourcing goods, services, and finishes, procuring estimates, execution of presentation drawings. Client presentation with visual display of furnishings and materials, presentation of estimates. Deposits accepted for all homeowner approved work and furnishings.

Project Management Phase ( a few months)
STEPS 6 to 9

Order Placement: assessment of delivery lead-times, construction and installation period begins. Final payments due for furniture and finishes.

Project Completion Phase (a few weeks)
STEPS 10 TO 15

Furniture installation and styling. Client Reveal! Identify and resolve deficiencies. Project completion
